How to export LinkedIn leads without Sales Navigator

You can export and qualify LinkedIn leads on a standard LinkedIn account. You do not need Sales Navigator. Most tools that say otherwise are built to read a Sales Navigator session, which is why they require the subscription — it is an architectural constraint of theirs, not a limitation of LinkedIn.

Why every export tool seems to demand it

Sales Navigator is LinkedIn’s paid sales product, US$99.99/mo for Core. The established export tools — Evaboot, PhantomBuster, Wiza and others — scrape from an active Sales Navigator session. That is how they were built. Without it, they return nothing.

So the real cost of those tools is their price plus US$99.99 every month. A US$19 export tool is a US$119 export tool. That maths is easy to miss at signup and hard to unwind afterwards.

If you are running a sales team that lives in Sales Navigator, that stack makes sense and you should keep it. If you are prospecting from the LinkedIn you already have, you have been sold a prerequisite you never needed.

What standard LinkedIn already gives you

Two things, both enough to build a real list:

Your connections

Everyone you are connected to, with name, headline, company and profile URL.

Search results

LinkedIn’s normal people search returns results by title, company, location and keyword. Narrower than Sales Navigator’s filters — but it is the same underlying data, and for most prospecting the difference is a longer list, not a better one.

Neither requires a subscription. The gap has never been access. The gap is that LinkedIn gives you no way to get the data out, and no way to tell which of 400 results are worth your time.

Doing it without the subscription (3 steps)

1

Capture what is on the page

Run the search you would run anyway, or open your connections list. MassLink reads what is already rendered in your browser as you browse it. It does not log in for you, message anyone, send connection requests, or run in the background.

2

Describe who you actually want

Not a filter — a sentence. “Ops leaders at logistics companies in Southeast Asia, 50–500 staff, likely to care about fleet costs.” Every captured profile is scored against that and told back to you with a reason attached.

This is the step Sales Navigator itself does not do. Its filters narrow by attribute; they cannot tell you which of the survivors are a fit for what you sell.

3

Export

CSV or Excel, into whatever you already use.

Where this genuinely does not fit

Some cases really do need Sales Navigator, and it is worth being clear about them:

  • Boolean and advanced filters. Sales Navigator’s search is more precise.
  • InMail at volume. A Sales Navigator feature. Nothing replaces it.
  • Team seats, shared lists, CRM sync. Sales Navigator plus a Sales Navigator-native export tool is the right stack for an organised sales org.
  • Bulk verified emails. MassLink does not find or verify email addresses.

If any of those describe you, buy Sales Navigator and pair it with Evaboot. That is a good stack and this page is not for you.

What it costs

MassLink is free for connections capture, limited discovery and CSV export — no card.

Pro is US$19/mo, flat. Unlimited discovery, AI qualification everywhere, saved searches, job-change detection, unlimited ICP profiles, Excel export. No credits, no balance to top up, no arithmetic before you run a search.

There is no Sales Navigator line item, because there is no Sales Navigator requirement.

Questions

Does this break LinkedIn's terms?

MassLink reads pages you have already opened in your own browser, as you browse them. It does not automate your account, send anything on your behalf, or access anything you cannot see yourself. Read LinkedIn's user agreement and decide what you are comfortable with — that is a judgement you should make deliberately, not one a vendor should make for you.

Can I use it for recruiting?

Yes. Same mechanics, different description of who you are looking for.

What if I already pay for Sales Navigator?

Then you have more options than this page assumes. MassLink still works — the AI qualification runs on either — but the cost argument does not apply to you.

Does it find email addresses?

No. If that is the core of your workflow, an enrichment tool is the right purchase.
