A Peppol ID is your business’s address on the InvoiceNow network: the identifier that lets invoices reach you through Singapore’s national e-invoicing network. Under the GST InvoiceNow Requirement, you need to be on the network from your InvoiceNow date.
You get a Peppol ID through an IMDA-accredited Access Point provider, not through IRAS or IMDA directly. Here is the step-by-step.
What is a Peppol ID?
Peppol is an international e-invoicing standard. IMDA introduced InvoiceNow, built on Peppol, in 2019. Your Peppol ID is tied to your business’s Unique Entity Number (UEN); it is how the network knows where to route your invoices.
Think of it as an email address for invoices. Your suppliers and customers can look up your Peppol ID in the Peppol directory (opens in a new tab) and send structured invoice data straight to your system.
Why you need one
From your date, the GST InvoiceNow Requirement has you submit invoice data to IRAS through an InvoiceNow-Ready Solution, sent via an accredited Access Point. Your Peppol ID is how the network identifies your business.

How to register, step by step
- 1Choose an IMDA-accredited Access Point provider. IMDA keeps the list of accredited providers on its InvoiceNow page (opens in a new tab). IRAS lists free InvoiceNow-Ready packages, aimed at small businesses with few invoices; other solutions are paid.
- 2Sign up with the provider and supply your UEN. The provider registers your Peppol ID using your Unique Entity Number. Have your UEN, business name and a contact person ready.
- 3Verify and activate. The provider submits your registration to the Peppol network. Once it is approved, your Peppol ID is active and your business can be found on the network.
- 4Send a test invoice. Before your date, send a test e-invoice through the network to confirm everything works. Ask your provider how.
- 5Tell your suppliers and customers. Let them know you are on InvoiceNow, so they can exchange e-invoices with you through the Peppol network.
What it costs
What you pay depends on the InvoiceNow-Ready Solution and Access Point provider you choose. IRAS lists free InvoiceNow-Ready packages, aimed at small businesses with few invoices, until 31 March 2031.
There is also an InvoiceNow transition grant from IMDA for eligible businesses that take up a new paid subscription to an IMDA-accredited solution; free solutions do not qualify.
Start early
Registration is one step. Choosing a provider, setting up how you invoice, training staff and testing all take time. IRAS expects about 90,000 more businesses to join the network (IRAS, 26 February 2026).
If you registered for GST voluntarily on or after 1 April 2026, InvoiceNow is a condition of your registration, so it applies to you already.
Where MassAdmin fits
MassAdmin is not an IMDA-accredited InvoiceNow-Ready Solution. On Business and above it exports invoices as Peppol-format (PINT SG) files; sending them through an accredited Access Point is planned. IRAS lists free InvoiceNow-Ready packages, aimed at small businesses with few invoices, until 31 March 2031; if e-invoicing is all you need, one may fit. MassAdmin is for the rest of the back office: payroll with CPF, your books and e-signatures, in one login.
You use an InvoiceNow-Ready Solution to submit invoice data to IRAS from your date.
